Pavel Orinyansky is perhaps the most famous illustrator of the novel today. It's his works that greet visitors at the entrance to the Bulgakov museum. And he is, without a doubt, one of the few artists whose drawings I personally and almost unconditionally love (and it's very hard to please me on this). It was with a book illustrated by this artist that my entire Bulgakov collection began. Each chapter of the novel opens with a gorgeous illustration (and some chapters even have more than one). And now, at last, I am publishing the complete collection of these wonderful works on the website.
