Paul Fröhling was born in the German city of Heidelberg in 1989. He began studying design in 2010, first in Stuttgart, then in Pforzheim, where he became interested in the merging of graphic design with various technical aspects.
For example, as his thesis project, Paul created a piece he called The Interactive Graphic Novel The Master and Margarita. It's a long ribbon of illustrations; scrolling through it on an iPad is accompanied by music and effects that correspond to the moment. Unfortunately, the artist's website for this project is no longer accessible. But at least we can still view the feed in static form (though we had to cut it into individual images to do so).
