Anna Eliza was born in Warsaw in 1973. In 1997, she graduated from the Warsaw Academy of Fine Arts. In 2000, she settled in Trier, Germany's oldest city. There, she works as an illustrator and book designer and also conducts her own workshops on the intricacies of graphic art. Since 2008, Anna Eliza Lukazik-Fisch has lectured at the European Academy of Fine Arts in Trier.
In her work, the artist uses various techniques: charcoal and ink drawing, pastels, watercolor, or gouache, and she also works in the etching technique.
In 2003, Anna Eliza created etchings (or, to be more precise, aquatints) for The Master and Margarita. Although there are only two of these works, in my opinion, they are well-deserving of being highlighted in a separate album of our Bulgakov collection.
