In 2011 (and since that year happened to be the Year of the Cat), Lavrentiy Anatolyevich Ivanov created several portraits of Behemoth the Cat for the website Petersburgskaya Dvornyazhka (The Petersburg Mongrel). Some may find the style of Soyuzmultfilm (Soviet animation studio) debatable when it comes to illustrating The Master and Margarita, but you and I are in favor of pluralism, are we not?

By the way, if you happen to have any information about this artist, please be so kind as to write to me about it.
